It's been an eventful March, April and May!

We released our newest song, “The Longest Night”, and entered it into CBC Music’s Searchlight contest for Canada’s Best New Artist. Out of over 4500 submissions from coast to coast to coast, we made it through to the Top Ten nationally!

TOP TEN!!!

It was played on the radio! Not just once! Coast to coast to coast! That's amazing. My mom heard the song in the car! THAT'S HUGE!

We couldn't have done it without the kind support of friends, family and fans. People took time to vote for us and put up with my 'voting reminder emails'. I hope I haven't been unfriended by anyone.

I wanted to give a big thanks to everyone who voted and listened and lent support. This contest was way more fun since I could share with everyone.

I also wanted to thank the CBC for organizing the contest. It's such a great idea. I got to be exposed to new artists from across the country and got to collaborate with them on a mixtape - check it out (www.thepredatorprey.com/searchlight-mixtape). I made new friends and got to hear great new music. It doesn't get much better than this.
